MBZUAI, the First AI University in the World
The days of talking about robotized learning in school or digitized classrooms is no more a concept of the future. In fact, with the rise in technology we are currently living the future, as Abu Dhabi announces the opening of the first graduate-level artificial intelligence university in the world. The Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI), is a research-based academic institution that offers specialized degree programs for local and international students in the field of Artificial Intelligence. With a view to support the advancement of scientific research, development transfer, and use of Artificial Intelligence through the introduction of MSc and Ph.D. programs that allow students to fulfill their intellectual potential in a state-of-the-art environment. MBZUAI aims to empower a new generation of artificial intelligence leaders with the help of excellent education and a different model of academics.
The university will start classes in September and has already received 1200 applications. The university offers full scholarship for all admitted students and many other benefits like, insurance, allowance and accommodation. The University offers graduate level students a range of postgraduate degrees, focusing on key areas like Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and Natural Language Processing. To harness AI responsibly for positive transformation, MBZUAI will also engage policymakers and businesses around the world. The UAE government has recognized the potential of artificial intelligence and has been continual adaptors of it.
